2. Personal data, purposes of their processing and legal bases
Our website can usually be used without having to provide any personal data. Providing personal data is voluntary. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter "data subject"). 3. Access data/server log files
When you visit our website, the servers automatically save the information that your browser sends, so-called server log files. The information includes:

If you have set up a user account with us, the information you provide for this purpose will be stored for the duration of the user relationship in accordance with Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR.
If you place an online order on our website, we collect the data required to conclude the contract. The data is stored for the duration of the contract and in accordance with legal obligations. The legal basis is the conclusion and execution of a contract in accordance with Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR.

10. Google reCaptcha
We use reCaptcha v2 on our websites. reCaptcha is an offer from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The responsible body for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.
ReCaptcha is used to prevent abusive automated entries in web forms and thus to protect the hoster's technical systems.
If you call up one of our websites in which reCaptcha is integrated, a connection to the Google servers will be established. A reCaptcha cookie is set. Your IP address will be transmitted to Google.
In addition, reCaptcha uses "fingerprinting" to collect the following data:

11. Recipients of Personal Data
We communicate personal data to the following categories of recipients:
To our employees and to the host of our website. In connection with the provision of the web shop, other companies in the Shimadzu Group can also have access to the data (in the context of order processing or for internal administration purposes).

If necessary to process the order, we will forward your address data to a shipping service provider.
We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.
12. Duration of storage
We delete your personal data immediately after the purpose has been achieved. We store your data from your e-mails, the contact form until your request has been fully processed and settled. After that, the information is usually deleted.
In addition, it is checked annually whether the data stored by you can be deleted.
Session cookies are automatically deleted by us after your visit to the website. Access data and server log files are deleted after one week.
Please note that there are commercial and tax law retention requirements for certain data of at least six (§ 257 HGB) or ten (§147 AO) years.
13. Rights of data subjects
